Tommy Dowd  joined Community Radio Kilkenny City in 2011, when he saw an advertisement in the local paper about Community Radio Kilkenny City looking for presenters.  Tommy started on Music for all on a Sunday evening.  He also presented That Pop Feeling show, where he counted down the Community Radio Kilkenny City Top ten. Now you can hear Tommy every Sunday night  on City Sounds  between 7 and 8 pm, where you can hear classic rock, pop, and dance music from the 80’s, 90’s 00’s.and all the current hits Since he has been involved in the station, Tommy has done a FETAC Level 5 Radio Production Course organised by Community Radio Kilkenny City, and Kilkenny VEC/ BTEI. When Tommy was a teenager he did a Radio Presentation Skills Course organised by Ossory Youth Services in the Desart Hall, New St, Kilkenny.  He grew up with the music of the 80’s and the 90’s, and he always wanted to be a radio presenter. Tommy lives in Kilkenny and he works as a Postman in the Kilkenny area.
