Danesfort GAA & Camogie Club & Community Radio Kilkenny City win big

Big win last Friday night (13th October) for Danesfort GAA & Camogie Club & Community Radio Kilkenny City.
‘The First Puck’ Radio play won a prestigious MacNamee Award for Best GAA Related Radio Programme for 2022. The Award Ceremony happened at Croke Park, last night, Well done all involved, in what was described on the night as a unique and wonderful project.

Orlaith Treacy as Producer all represented Danesfort. CRKC was represented by Pat Treacy (also Danesfort) Mick Cummins & Declan Gibbons.

Our colleague, Enda McEvoy (Irish Examiner) received a Hall of Fame award and was interviewed on the night by GAA Head of Communications, Alan Milton. Congrats also to Senan Cooke for his award for his great history of Dunhill GAA.
