On Kilkenny Today from Thursday 26th September, Declan Gibbons began the show by airing an interview from our sister Community Radio station at NEAR FM between Austin McCoy and Paul Murray from NEAR FMs Senior Citizens Program, they were joined by Billy O Keeffe, Life Long Programmes Manager with Age Action to explain all about positive ageing. In the second part of the show, Declan aired an interview between June Tinsley, Head of Communications at NCBI ahead of the budget 2019, where they hope to have access to better employment for people who are visually impaired.
