Shopping safely with physical distancing measures.
Clean hands, avoiding touching your face and physical distancing – these are the most effective preventions from COVID-19 when shopping.
Please respect everyone around you – staff and fellow shoppers alike.
You are free to travel more than 2km for essential supplies such as food, medicines and household cleaning items.
There is no need to stockpile food or other essentials – but buy enough for the week to reduce your need for many visits to shops.
When shopping for your food and essential items, ensure you keep 2 metres distance between yourself, staff and fellow shoppers.
Keep to 2 metres always – that means when browsing and queuing, inside and outside.
Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue, which you should dispose of into a bin afterwards.
Cooperate with any in-store safety measures provided.
These guidelines are for everyone’s benefit, let’s come together and stop the spread of COVID-19.
It’s in our hands.
Flatten the curve.
